This course is to equip the student with knowledge and basic skills to restore the primary and mixed dentition and know when to appropriately refer a child for specialist advice. Further, it encompasses preventive aspects in child dentition. It will also cover  non-pharmacological behaviour management child patient, appropriate diagnostic procedures in such circumstances, treatment planning with relation to comprehensive dental care for the child. The course prepares the student for skill development in paediatric dentistry.
